Achor Yusuf - A milestone moment for us at ART@TACK FILM ACADEMY... We're proud to have trained eight batches of talented individuals since 2015, and this support will go a long way in helping us continue to empower young creatives.

We have been around since 2015.

What We Do?

We are an audiovisual media production company in Nigeria that takes pride in making socially and culturally relevant contents. Our big goal is to be able to entertain and educate while at it. We also take it as a responsibility to partake in the training of the next group of filmmakers through our Art@tack Film Academy. We have been around since 2015. Browse through some of our catalogue of films.

Film Academy

To create opportunity for career and peace building in Nigeria, to channel youthful passion right, Art@tack Film Academy was established. We have trained youths since 2017, and have put a lot of them in career ways in the filmmaking industry.

Production

Our happiest moments are the times we are producing content. In Nigeria, film productions are mostly budget constrained, but always, we try to outdo ourselves. Excellence and high quality are always the goals we reach for.

Studio

At Art@tack Studios, we have partnered with other organizations within and outside the film industry, government and non-governmental, to create film contents at different levels.

Awards

In 2021, one of our most recent short films, Coin won the award for Best Nollywood Short Film by Established Filmmaker at the Real Time International Film Festival.

Tomorrow Never Came
A short film on the daily problems (Child Labour) young girls in the north and in other parts of Nigeria who are out of school face, both at home and on the streets. It is a compelling emotional and thought provoking short film adapted from the spoken word poetry by Andrew Patience (A.P). The film was created by the Art@tack Film Academy, training and equipping passionate story tellers into filmmakers who will create stories that will provoke imagination, bring in meaning and positively shape society.

Our Latest Movie

The brilliant work by Kyuka Lilymjok titled ‘The Death of Eternity' presents the opportunity to weave narratives around Hungarian and Nigerian cultures between the 1960s and the 1980s. A period piece. A troubled, self-appointed environmental prophet for a protagonist. Collaborative possibilities... You can see why we're working to adapt this film.

The Death of Eternity

Tibor’s convictions are his religion, and when he assures himself of Nigeria’s dire need for an environmental saviour, he sets out… and not even the exploitative elites, their killer henchmen nor bureaucratic stranglehold can dissuade him. As Tibor aggressively chases this personal goal to conclusion, it is no longer clear to us if he is merely distancing himself from past hurt, following a tangible dream, or merely wadding through the mud of insanity.

Art@tack Film Academy is a non-profit academy aimed at training and equipping Nigerian youths from all regions with filmmaking skills that will help them develop a career, build self-sustenance, and imbibe storytelling culture that inspire peaceful coexistence of the different groups in the country.
